Dave Leskusky has worked with NAPCO since 1995 and has had a fantastic career - now President of PRINTING United Alliance & NAPCO Media. In this interview, Editor Morten B. Reitoft from INKISH asks about the role of print and if print today might need to change the metrics on how print is measured. We also talk about print as an art form. It was SUPER nice talking to Dave Leskusky and understanding more about the motivations behind PRINTING United Alliance and why big is necessary when seeking political influence and truly making a difference for our industry.

We were in Philadelphia filming a super interesting printing company. Of course, we took the opportunity to meet our friends from PRINTING United at a headquarters that, by all means, showed that you'll soon find them at a new address. Mark Subers is the President of PRINTING United Expo, and we got the chance to talk to him about expectations for PRINTING United 2024 at a time when both drupa and also Label Expo are taking place - Label Expo even on the same dates as PRINTING United. To learn is to live, and to live is to learn - and one of PRINTING United Alliance's member services is iLearn+. Joe Marin is responsible for the organization's member service. In this interview, we learn how the program is curated and how and why many of the courses and certification programs are translated into 30+ languages. One of the things we liked about how PRINTING United develops member services is the business approach. Member advantages for sure, but PRINTING United Alliance develops material based on demand instead of providing tons of courses nobody demands. Ford Bowers is a happy man. Not only will PRINTING United Atlanta 2023 be bigger than any of the previous shows, but the PRINTING United Alliance will have success. New members are signing up daily, and the size and importance of the Alliance, and recently the establishment of the first print industry congressional caucus - giving the US printing industry access to - as Ford Bowers said, 'maybe not favorable legislation, but at least influencing negative legislation for the industry.' Member services and a commercially driven not-for-profit organization are facts, and PRINTING United Expo is the evidence.

In this film, we wrap up our experience from PRINTING United together with Ford Bowers, the CEO of PRINTING United Alliance. Still, we also get a chance to see some of the products and print samples HP has spent the past three days showcasing.
